Between alpine luxury and contemporary elegance

Fitting out and decorating a prestigious apartment – Arc 1750

Agence Amevet was commissioned by a client who was acquiring a large 208 sqm prestige apartment in a building under construction.

The project therefore involved working on a raw, unfinished space-a blank canvas for our interior architects, who were able to give free rein to their creativity.

This high-end apartment is located in the « Le RIDGE » building.
This prestigious development was carried out by COGECO on an exceptional site.

This optimization of volumes has given rise to a beautiful, comfortable and spacious living space.

A beautiful fireplace adorns the living area. Its metal mantle lends a very contemporary touch. A DCW pendant light is also an important element. It provides soft light, enlivens the volume of the room, and harmonizes with the fireplace in the background.

A mezzanine overlooks the living room. Designed like a metal box, and glazed, it houses a home cinema. Access is via a staircase with light, unobtrusive lines. It also becomes a decorative element, while offering comfortable access.

The underside of the living room ceiling is clad in split fir wood. False beams in old wood create a rhythm and allow technical elements to be installed.

The client had one major objective for this prestigious apartment.

  • He wanted to recreate a mountain spirit, a cosy place to live.
  • He wanted to recreate the interior of a contemporary chalet.

Our architects took a close look at the organization of the volumes. In particular, they optimized the ceiling height, which was not initially planned by the developer. This modification was made possible by the developer.

Lespiau-Montagne, a firm specializing in top-of-the-range project management in alpine environments, was responsible for project management and economics.

A beautiful parquet floor matches the ceiling. The lively grain of the wood is enhanced by the deep-brushed oak.

The walls are clad in wood. But to avoid an overloaded effect, our interior designers also chose to apply a fine lime plaster. This very healthy material has the advantage of offering a velvety appearance and subtle light reflection. Its application requires a perfect technique. For this job, the client called on RE-VA, a company offering this rare skill. RE-VA has also demonstrated its rare skill in other areas (bathroom tiles, built-in taps, installation of washbasins, etc.).

The master bedroom is particularly pleasant

It offers an exceptional view of the mountain range and valley. This view is so exceptional that our interior designers decided to make it visible from the bathroom, thanks to the installation of a metal glass frame. The bedroom’s headboard echoes the mountain landscape, with the use of a particularly harmonious Nobilis fabric.

The bathroom of this master also offers a very contemporary aesthetic thanks to large-format, imitation-stone tiling. Matte black faucets (used throughout the apartment) accentuate this modern look.

And to create a chalet feel, all the fixtures and fittings in this prestigious apartment were made with the same spruce cladding in a splintered finish, for a rather raw, authentic feel.

This apartment offers comfortable living thanks to the creation of several bedrooms.

Each has its own en-suite bathroom. And each has its own personalized decor, including headboards and curtain fabrics. L’Atelier des Frères created these arrangements and curtains (as well as the apartment’s various metal elements). Most of the fabrics are from the Arpin range.

Two further master bedrooms have been created

One features a nod to the authenticity of the mountains: a panoramic photo of cows on alpine pastures adds a touch of natural green color, also echoed in the curtain fabric. This room also has a bathroom, finished in Muttina earthenware and separated by a screen made from large sections of fir.

The other bedroom has a more distinctive style. A contemporary fabric, reminiscent of an Austrian style, adorns the headboard.

Another bedroom, dedicated to children. It comprises 2 bunk beds and 2 single beds. It features plenty of storage space and a central play area. Gilded metal wall lights are perfectly at home here. Their originality lies in their LED light source, which when illuminated subtly draws deer antlers on the wall.

Finally, the skilful use of space has enabled the creation of a relaxation area, with multiple functions: desk, piano, extra bedroom with sofa bed. This room, open to the living room, regains its privacy once the sliding doors are closed.

The corridor is also an important element in this project. Its length was a constraint.
Our architects turned it into an aesthetic asset. Fabric coverings and geometric wallpaper accents punctuate the corridor.
