Complete personalization of an apartment in a new program

The brief included the creation of 4 personalized bedrooms, each with its own adapted bathroom. In addition to the master bedroom, the agency designed a second bedroom with a double bed and a mezzanine bed. A third bedroom features two double bunk beds. How original is that? As for the “suite des lutines et lutins”, it offers 4 bunk beds and a bathroom with a washbasin equipped with a footboard, all of which augurs well for happy heckling.

The large living area includes a very compact, yet hyper-equipped kitchen, with a wine cellar, clever storage for glasses and utensils, and Savoy stone worktops. The dining room, which seats 13 people and their guests, is a feat of ingenuity! The living room is structured around a sofa made to measure by a French company. The sauna (5.50 m) and ski room have nothing to envy the common areas in terms of space optimization.

Le Diamant Noir is part of a new development of two chalets, each with 10 lots, at the entrance to the hamlet of Chinaillon, the “top village” of the Grand-Bornand resort, in the heart of the Aravis mountains in Haute-Savoie. The project’s developer asked Agence Amevet to fit out an empty plateau in one of the two condominiums, for his personal use and occasional rental.

The agency chose to give the two floors of the apartment different styles. The first floor was treated in a “mountain/contemporary” style, with lots of stone and light. The bar’s facade recalls the tavaillon roofs typical of Chinaillon. The upstairs is more rustic, cocooned like an old chalet, with a false framework recreated in old wood. An ideal choice for integrating lighting, but complex to achieve.
