Between Savoyard authenticity and contemporary elegance

Design concept for the **** La Clé des Cimes tourist residence in Arêches-Beaufort

For the construction of La Clé des Cimes, its new 4-star tourist residence in the heart of the Beaufortain, the MMV Group asked the interior architects of Agence Amevet to imagine a decorative concept for both the common areas and the apartments.

Arêches-Beaufort is a Savoyard resort renowned for its authenticity, conviviality, and« village » atmosphere. It was in this spirit that the layout and decoration of this tourist residence were conceived.

Common areas

The reception area and lounge offer a warm and inviting ambience. It’s a delight to sit by the fire, next to a stone fireplace clad in shades of metal. An old wooden bookcase, made up of surprisingly curved cubes, completes this space dedicated to reading and relaxation. Sofas also play an important role in creating a cosy atmosphere. Our interior designers chose to cover them with a wool fabric in a tartan pattern, for a “mountain” touch. They also imagined a wellness zone. A swimming pool, Jacuzzi and treatment rooms offer residents a relaxing and harmonious space.

Private areas

The apartments have also been designed with authenticity in mind, without detracting from their contemporary feel. For example, the furniture in the dining area consists of a solid wood table and chairs, such as might have been found in Savoy farmhouses, but revisited with a white lacquer. The lighting fixtures, in lacquered metal, help to bring the mountain atmosphere to life.
