Milan Design Week 2025

MILAN 2025

Architecture and interior design: when emotion rhymes with wandering

Three interior designers from Agence Amevet, Élodie, Maëlle and Manon, immersed themselves in Milan Design Week 2025 with a thirst for new ideas. They chose to experience the city, wandering through the neighborhoods of Brera, Tortona and Isola, to Milanese palazzi transformed into ephemeral galleries. Everywhere, immersive installations, meticulous staging and dialogues between designers, artists and publishers.

The light at Euroluce 2025 played a central role in their experiences, enveloping the spaces in softness or tension. Ambiences, spaces, movements of materials and associations of textures are what nourish their vision. No front-end tracking, but a collection of emotions, ideas and gestures, to be reinjected into tomorrow’s projects. They came to Milan with all their sensibilities deployed, and returned with intuition and desires.

FURNITURE

Furniture: location, materials and encounters

Meanwhile, Chacha, Justine and Pierre-François, three other members of the agency, including the boss himself, all furniture experts, surveyed the halls of the Salone del Mobile with method, curiosity and a sharp eye. The aim is to spot new brands, test seats, touch fabrics, compare finishes and proportions, and meet the right people.

Between two halls, with an Italian coffee in hand, they shared their top picks for this year’s 2025 edition: raw materials, heat-treated woods, textured metals, generously-shaped sofas, intelligent modularity… A visit to Euroluce 2025, dedicated to lighting, rounded off the day’s events, revealing innovative solutions for creating the right setting for interiors. On everyone’s mind were current and future projects.
