Bowling at La Plagne

It was their curiosity and taste for innovative projects that led our interior architects to work on the creation of a bowling venue in La Plagne (73), within a building constructed by the municipality.

Commissioned by a client for whom we had already designed the restaurant Le Refuge in the same resort, Agence Amevet responded to a brief that presented an exciting challenge. The venue needed to accommodate a bowling alley, a bar area, and welcome a very diverse clientele over a wide range of opening hours.

In order to break away from the typical mountain atmosphere, wood cladding was limited, in favor of more innovative materials: metal mesh, stone sheeting, large intertwined ropes under the ceilings. Our interior designers also worked specifically on lighting: light projections on the bowling alley, illuminated signs to differentiate the bar, bowling and billiard areas, and light effects to create a more subdued atmosphere in the evening.

Designed to offer children and teenagers a playful, lively and colorful atmosphere reminiscent of the world of sports during the day, Le Holydays switches to evening mode for adults, with a bar and billiards area, lighting effects and vintage references. In all cases, the decor concept, created by our interior designers, emphasizes conviviality.
