Design concept for the **** L’Altaviva tourist residence in Tignes

For the construction of ALTAVIVA, its new 4-star tourist residence in Tignes, the MMV Group asked the interior architects of Agence Amevet to imagine a decorative concept for the common areas and the apartments.

The key word guiding this concept was « dynamism », perfectly reflecting the young and sporty image of the resort of Tignes.

Our interior architects translated this dynamic spirit through several strong elements:

Subtle, understated tones enhanced with colorful accents
Furniture with clean, contemporary lines
Relatively uncluttered spaces

Common areas

The reception area has been organized to leave plenty of space for welcoming guests, so as to better manage the influx of residents on arrival days.
The selection of furnishings allows us to recreate more confidential spaces, offering residents moments of relaxation and conviviality.
Wood is very much in evidence in this reception area, but treated in an original way: birch trunks give rhythm to the space, while wooden ceiling slats soften the atmosphere and create a play of light.
The wellness area has a very contemporary feel, with pure white wall panels featuring a “3D effect” relief.

The apartments

Our interior designers have given the apartments a warm, youthful and dynamic feel.
The apartments have been designed for ease of use, using simple, robust materials such as stone cladding and wood panelling.
The furniture is also meant to be nomadic, as with this coffee table designed with a section of tree trunk, fixed on castors.
The lighting fixtures were chosen with simplicity in mind. But they play their part in this harmony, thanks to the touch of color they bring, and the warm light they diffuse.
