Interior decoration to take your visitors on a journey
- Colors, materials, textures, objects and photos play an essential role in making guests "travel" in a hotel or tourist residence, by creating an immersive atmosphere. By combining these elements, interior design can transform a building into a space that stimulates guests' senses and allows them to mentally escape to a specific destination, even if they are physically elsewhere. To immerse you in the world of the mountains, we suggest a few uses here. Natural materials - wood, stone and metal - evoke the ruggedness of high altitude, while creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Color palettes reminiscent of mountain landscapes, forests, lakes and rivers. Fireplaces or wood-burning stoves in common areas and bedrooms to create a cosy, comforting atmosphere. Presentation of a recent project

The Higalik Hôtel**** project in Les Ménuires, to be delivered in 2023, embodies the maturity of Agence Amevet’s expertise in high-end and luxury interior architecture for hotels and tourist residences. For this establishment located in the 3 Valleys in Savoie, we designed the interior architecture, as well as the selection, design, manufacture and installation of the furniture.

We worked on the following sites:

The reception, extended by two lounges, a large breakfast room for the hotel’s 400 guests, a central bar and an auxiliary kitchen.
3 seminar rooms with different atmospheres and capacities.
Circulation throughout the building’s 10 levels.
A “well-being” and “wellness” area, with swimming pool and outdoor terrace, steam room, sauna…
The 103 rooms include 24 doubles, 24 triples, 50 family rooms and 5 suites.

Our design process: key steps in our hotel and residence design process

After an initial briefing with the customer to understand their objectives and budgetary constraints, our team, led by a project manager interior architect, analyzes the market, the target clientele and current trends in hotel design. We then draw up an overall design concept, including the interior layout, colors, materials, decorative elements and furniture, if included in the order. This concept is then developed in detail, with a precise selection of elements and the creation of technical plans. A presentation is made to the customer for approval, followed by the delivery of detailed technical documentation. Once the plans have been approved, and if the customer has entrusted us with project management assistance (PMA), we ensure regular monitoring of the contractors and craftsmen involved in the work. At the same time, we oversee the delivery and installation of furniture and decorative elements.
