    Furnishing interior spaces
    • Before choosing furniture, it's important to understand the specific needs of your guests and the desired style of your establishment. Is it a luxury hotel, a contemporary-style residence or a charming inn? This understanding of desired styles will help guide furniture selection in terms of quality, design, functionality and comfort. In all cases : The reception area should be welcoming and functional, especially in hotels. Comfortable sofas, elegant chairs, low tables and well-designed reception counters are essential. Elements such as brochure racks, luggage racks and information boards can also be added. Rooms should offer optimum comfort. High-quality beds, bedside tables, desks, chairs, wardrobes and appropriate lighting are essential. Fabrics, sheets, comforter covers and pillows should be soft and pleasant to the touch. Communal areas, such as lounges, restaurants, bars and meeting rooms, should be designed to encourage conviviality and relaxation. Sofas, armchairs, dining tables, bar stools and chairs adapted to each space are necessary. The layout should allow easy movement while creating distinct zones for different activities. In the case of tourist residences with kitchens or kitchenettes, it's important to provide the necessary equipment, such as refrigerators, stoves, microwave ovens, cooking utensils, cutlery and quality crockery. It's also essential to take into account factors such as the durability of the furniture, ease of maintenance and compliance with safety standards.

Layout to create an exceptional space
    • The interior designer's first pencil strokes foreshadow the exception, creating a unique principle that reflects the establishment's identity and sets it apart from the competition. This concept will be all the more effective when the key points of the layout have been taken care of. Well thought-out lighting, combining natural and artificial light, functionality and architectural enhancement. Intelligent use of space. High-quality colors, textures and tactile materials that generate a positive sensory experience. High-quality furniture and accessories that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Works of art, sculptures, tapestries and decorative objects that stimulate visual interest. The integration of innovative technologies to control lighting and appliances, multimedia equipment for entertainment, broadband connectivity solutions and digital services to facilitate customer requests. Gardens, terraces or swimming pools, with comfortable relaxation areas, a pleasant night-time atmosphere, landscaping elements that add a touch of nature...

Interior decoration to take your visitors on a journey
    • Colors, materials, textures, objects and photos play an essential role in making guests "travel" in a hotel or tourist residence, by creating an immersive atmosphere. By combining these elements, interior design can transform a building into a space that stimulates guests' senses and allows them to mentally escape to a specific destination, even if they are physically elsewhere. To immerse you in the world of the mountains, we suggest a few uses here. Natural materials - wood, stone and metal - evoke the ruggedness of high altitude, while creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere. Color palettes reminiscent of mountain landscapes, forests, lakes and rivers. Fireplaces or wood-burning stoves in common areas and bedrooms to create a cosy, comforting atmosphere. Mountain-inspired artifacts: animal trophies, paintings, rugs, cushions... Solid wood and leather furniture to add a touch of robustness and sophistication to the interior. Soft, warm lighting, with accent lamps, wall sconces and hanging lamps with fabric shades for subdued light. Evocative architectural features such as exposed wooden beams, carved wooden balustrades and panoramic windows. Relaxation facilities: spas, saunas, swimming pools, massage rooms...

How to create a cottage atmosphere?
    • Agence Amevet's interior designers will tell you: there's no such thing as a ready-made recipe for creating a chalet atmosphere, only a spirit and ingredients! In order or disorder: natural materials, warm, earthy tones, rustic elements, the presence of a fireplace or stove, soft lighting, comfortable textiles, decorative elements with motifs inspired by the mountain environment...

Our design process: key steps in our hotel and residence design process

After an initial briefing with the customer to understand their objectives and budgetary constraints, our team, led by a project manager interior architect, analyzes the market, the target clientele and current trends in hotel design. We then draw up an overall design concept, including the interior layout, colors, materials, decorative elements and furniture, if included in the order. This concept is then developed in detail, with a precise selection of elements and the creation of technical plans. A presentation is made to the customer for approval, followed by the delivery of detailed technical documentation. Once the plans have been approved, and if the customer has entrusted us with project management assistance (PMA), we ensure regular monitoring of the contractors and craftsmen involved in the work. At the same time, we oversee the delivery and installation of furniture and decorative elements.

The importance of architecture in the design of hotels and residences

The interior design of a hotel or tourist residence plays a vital role. An attractive, welcoming design creates a positive first impression – and first impressions are often the right ones! Next, guests need to find the comfortable, pleasant environment they’ve come to expect. Ergonomics, quality materials and appropriate lighting are just some of the elements that contribute to well-being. Well-organized rooms, intuitive communal areas and easy-to-use amenities help guests feel at ease and enjoy their stay to the full.

For the owner, operator or shareholders, the interior of a hotel or tourist residence is of significant commercial interest. It helps to differentiate from the competition, improve brand perception and increase customer satisfaction. By helping to maximize occupancy rates, as well as reducing long-term maintenance costs, it has a positive impact on the establishment’s financial performance.
