Designing, fitting out, renovating and furnishing hotels, tourist residences, their restaurants, common areas and rooms are an important part of our agency’s know-how. Our expertise has grown with each project, enabling us to fully understand the expectations of the tourism market and the essential ingredients of an unforgettable customer experience.

Make your hotel the perfect place to welcome your guests

Agence Amevet is one of the few players in the market to offer a 360° service to owners and promoters in the hotel and holiday home sectors. We keep a close eye on tourism trends and, thanks to our constant presence in winter and summer sports resorts, we are able to appreciate all the innovations on the market. We have a 5-person design office, where every interior designer is able to handle any hotel project, regardless of its marketing orientation or scope. Our furniture experts extend the coherence and aesthetics of the overall image as far as possible.

To successfully renovate the interior of a hotel or tourist residence, we combine a number of essential skills. Human values, reflected in our ability to empathize with project owners to fully understand their needs. In-depth knowledge of the hotel and tourism industry, which makes dialogue with our clients even more fruitful. The development of immersive creative concepts by our design office. The development of functional and aesthetic plans, based on the use of high-quality materials and compliance with administrative standards and regulations. Our project management skills, which enable us to plan and coordinate the work involved in each project, on time and on budget, should you choose to entrust this task to us. Technical skills to understand the technical aspects of renovation and communicate effectively with craftsmen and furniture manufacturers.

Before choosing furniture, it is important to understand the specific needs of the customers and the desired style for the establishment. Is it a luxury hotel, a contemporary residence or a charming inn? This understanding of the desired styles will help to guide the selection of furniture in terms of quality, design, functionality and comfort.

In all cases:

  • The reception area must be welcoming and functional, especially in hotels. Comfortable sofas, elegant chairs, coffee tables and well-designed reception counters are essential. Elements such as brochure stands, luggage racks and information boards can also be added.
  • The rooms must provide optimal comfort. High-quality beds, bedside tables, desks, chairs, wardrobes and appropriate lighting are essential. The fabrics, sheets, blankets and pillows must be soft and pleasant to the touch.
  • The common areas, such as lounges, restaurants, bars and meeting rooms, must be designed to promote conviviality and relaxation. Sofas, armchairs, dining tables, bar stools and chairs suitable for each space are necessary. The layout must allow for easy movement while creating distinct areas for different activities.
  • In the case of tourist residences with kitchens or kitchenettes, it is important to provide the necessary equipment, such as refrigerators, stoves, microwave ovens, kitchen utensils, cutlery and quality crockery. It is then essential to take into account elements such as the durability of the furniture, the ease of maintenance and the compliance with safety standards.

The interior designer’s first pencil strokes foreshadow the exception, creating a unique principle that reflects the establishment’s identity and sets it apart from the competition. This concept will be all the more effective when the key points of the layout have been taken care of. Well thought-out lighting, combining natural and artificial light, functionality and architectural enhancement. Intelligent use of space. High-quality colors, textures and tactile materials that generate a positive sensory experience. High-quality furniture and accessories that are both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Works of art, sculptures, tapestries and decorative objects that stimulate visual interest. The integration of innovative technologies to control lighting and appliances, multimedia equipment for entertainment, broadband connectivity solutions and digital services to facilitate customer requests. Gardens, terraces or swimming pools, with comfortable relaxation areas, a pleasant night-time ambience, landscaping elements that add a touch of nature…

Colors, materials, textures, objects, and photos play an essential role in making “travel” the customers of a hotel or tourist residence, by creating an immersive atmosphere. By combining these elements, interior decoration can transform a construction into a space that stimulates the senses of customers and allows them to mentally escape to a specific destination, even if they are physically elsewhere.

For an immersion in the world of the mountain, we offer you here some uses.

  • Natural materials, wood, stone, metal, which evoke the harshness of altitude, while creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
  • Color palettes that recall mountain landscapes, forests, lakes and rivers.
  • Fireplaces or wood-burning stoves in common areas and bedrooms to create a cozy and comforting atmosphere.
  • Artifacts inspired by the mountains: animal trophies, paintings, carpets, cushions…
  • Solid wood and leather furniture to add a touch of robustness and sophistication to the interior.
  • Soft and warm lighting, composed of table lamps, wall sconces, pendants with fabric lampshades to diffuse a dimmed light.
  • Suggestive architectural elements, such as exposed wooden beams, carved wooden balustrades or panoramic windows.
  • Relaxation equipment: spas, saunas, swimming pool, massage rooms…

Our design process: the key stages in our hotel and residence design process

After an initial briefing with the customer to understand their objectives and budgetary constraints, our team, led by a project manager interior architect, analyzes the market, the target clientele and current trends in hotel design. We then draw up an overall design concept, including the interior layout, colors, materials, decorative elements and furniture if this is part of the order. This concept is then developed in detail, with a precise selection of elements and the creation of technical plans. A presentation is made to the customer for approval, followed by the delivery of detailed technical documentation. Once the plans have been approved, and if the customer has entrusted us with project management assistance (PMA), we ensure regular monitoring of the contractors and craftsmen involved in the work. At the same time, we oversee the delivery and installation of furniture and decorative elements.

The importance of architecture in the design of hotels and residences

The interior design of a hotel or tourist residence plays a vital role. An attractive, welcoming design creates a positive first impression – and first impressions are often the right ones! Next, guests need to find the comfortable, pleasant environment they’ve come to expect. Ergonomics, quality materials and appropriate lighting are just some of the elements that contribute to well-being. Well-organized rooms, intuitive common areas and easy-to-use equipment all help guests to feel at ease and enjoy their stay to the full.

For the owner, operator or shareholders, the interior of a hotel or tourist residence is of significant commercial interest. It helps them stand out from the competition, enhances brand perception and increases customer satisfaction. By helping to maximize occupancy rates, as well as reducing long-term maintenance costs, it has a positive impact on the establishment’s financial performance.
