ADAPTATION OF AN URBAN CONCEPT STORE OFFERING BAKERY/PASTRIES/SANDWICHES

In 2010, Agence Amevet’s interior architects invented a new concept for La Panière shops. Since then, we have stood beside this banner’s development, designing new sales outlets every year and extending the job to project management in certain cases. Today, La Panière has 35 such shops, mainly in Savoie and Haute-Savoie.

2016 saw the creation of a new shop in Annecy. For this concept store, however, the codes of the “standard” concept had to be tweaked to achieve a specific, more innovative style, more relevant to its situation and to its customers’ expectations.

For the project implementation, the owner of the chain opted for a commercial location that had until then accommodated a ready-to-wear boutique. Agence Amevet was therefore assigned the whole conversion, from design through to job execution management.

Our interior architects imagined a very warm, welcoming ambience for the new store. A “retro” aspect is provided by the use of materials like cement tiles, timber, metal-chassis shop windows, an industrial-style clock, a product display unit built like an old-style counter.

But this ambience is subtly seasoned with contemporary features: stylish furniture and light fittings, touches of acid colours, treatment of its spaces, a half-glazed metal partition offering a view inside the preparation kitchen. A large black & white mural provides a feelgood factor, depicting three radiant girls offering their tasty wares for consumption.

Our interior architects were also tasked with the layout of technical areas in this store, along with integration of all the specific equipment needed for production: preparation room, refrigerated display cases, + and – °C cold stores, secure electronic tills, ovens.

Further still, our interior architects also designed the outdoor looks to match the style of the surrounding buildings: choice of materials, shop window design, integration of facade signs.

All regulatory aspects of the project were taken care of by our staff: regulations relating to public access premises, administrative procedures (declarations of work).

Founded by Pierre-François Amevet, Agence Amevet (previously called AmDeCo) is a recognized interior architecture bureau involved in the design, fitting out, layout, interior decoration, and management of premium, prestige, and luxury projects, living places, and sales outlets, for private and business clients. These encompass mountain chalets, houses, apartments, tourist residences, hotels, restaurants, concept stores, designer boutiques, and retail outlets.

Although Agence Amevet also operates in newbuild, its favoured sphere is first and foremost renovation, transformation, optimization, and extension of existing spaces.

Located in La Ravoire, Chambery, in France’s Savoie department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region and only a short drive from Lyon, Agence Amevet is a team of four interior architects, a coordinator, a job execution manager (manager of works), a furnishing designer, a graphic designer, a furniture design specialist, and a network of serious, reliable craft contractors: building painters, interior painters, cabinet makers, joiners, drywallers, tile layers, marble workers, stonemasons, iron crafters, upholsterers, building masons.

Agence Amevet works all over France in town and city (Paris, Lyon, Marseille, Grenoble, Chambery, Annecy) and in mountain resorts (Savoie: Méribel, Courchevel, Val Thorens, Vanoise Haute-Savoie: La Clusaz, Megève, Grand Bornand, Chamonix), organizing the interior architecture and decoration of renovations and newbuild alike.
