CREATION OF A BOWLING ALLEY IN LA PLAGNE

The curiosity and taste of our interior designers for innovative projects led them to work on the creation of a bowling alley in La Plagne (73), in a building constructed by the town council.
Approached by a client for whom we had already created ‘Le Refuge’ restaurant in the same resort, Agence Amevet responded to technical specifications that set a real challenge. The venue had to house a bowling alley with a bar area, but also needed long opening hours for a very varied clientele.
Designed to offer children and teenagers an entertaining, lively, and colourful atmosphere in the daytime, recalling the world of sport, in the evening Le Holydays is transformed to a venue for adults, with a bar area and billiards, lighting effects and vintage references. In any event, the decoration concept devised by our interior designers promotes conviviality.
To avoid a typically mountain atmosphere, there is little wooden trim and more innovative materials: metal mesh, stone leaf, thick ropes intertwined under the ceilings. The lighting in particular has been worked on by our interior designers: special lighting effects on the bowling lane, illuminated signs differentiating the bar, bowling and billiards areas, and lighting effects that create a more subdued ambiance in the evening.
